{"id":321,"date":"2011-07-29T21:48:13","date_gmt":"2011-07-30T01:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heartriverhomebrewers.com\/?p=321"},"modified":"2011-07-29T21:48:13","modified_gmt":"2011-07-30T01:48:13","slug":"july-2011-minutes-of-the-heart-river-home-brewers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.heartriverhomebrewers.com\/?p=321","title":{"rendered":"July 2011 Minutes of the Heart River Home Brewers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Present: Jerry Ford, Dale Sattler, Michael Kreitinger, Alan Church, Ryan Jilek, Rocky Stoltz and Jon Stika.<\/p>\n<p>Received a $100 donation from the Dickinson State University Foundation in appreciation of our efforts to teach Hawk&#8217;s Point residents about brewing beer.\u00a0 Ryan will follow up with Hawk&#8217;s Point regarding another teaching session to brew a barley wine later this summer or fall.\u00a0 Discussed the club&#8217;s role in the upcoming Knights of Columbus event scheduled for Thursday, October 6th at the Badlands Activity Center.\u00a0 Two English Bitter kits will be purchased, one to brew and serve at the event and the other to brew as a demonstration during the event.\u00a0 Saturday, September 10th was set as the date for the club picnic at Sattler&#8217;s, 1020 5th Street West in Dickinson.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan brought a peak-smoked ale and a dark IPA.\u00a0 Mike brought an Irish Red Ale.\u00a0 Dale brought Grand Teton&#8217;s Lost Continent Double IPA.\u00a0 Alan brought Boston Beer Co.
