This beer was light golden in color, slightly sweet, with good body, prominent malt flavor with a subtle hop spiciness in the finish.  A very good and unique wheat beer from Spoetzl Brewery of Shiner, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Rocky provided a Treasurer&#8217;s report showing a current balance of $470.03.  Discussed having a second monthly meeting in addition to the regularly scheduled (fourth Thursday) meeting.  The additional meeting would be hosted by a member and might include a brewing-related activity.  The meeting would be scheduled month by month by the member that would volunteer to host it.  A suggestion was made to have President Sattler host the April additional meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan provided a briefing on club activities related to the Brews and Blues event planned by the Dickinson State University Foundation for May 21st at Hawk&#8217;s Point on the DSU campus.  Ryan, Jerry, Rocky and Jon will plant to assist Hawk&#8217;s Point residents brew three batches of beer on April 8th in the Hawk&#8217;s Point cafeteria at 5:45PM.  Several HRHB members will donate beers for the Brews and Blues event in addition to the Kolsch left over from the KC event last year.  <\/p>\n<p>Jon reported that he has registered for the Beer Judge Certification Program exam scheduled for September 16th in Fargo, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan brought an Irish Red Ale and an Alt.  Jerry brought a Belgian Farmhouse ale.  Jon brought an Alt.  Rocky brought a Cream Ale made with six-row malt that he made.
